The Miramichi river is famous for many things; the best salmon fishing in the world, birthplace of Lord Beaverbrook, 19th Centry shipbuilding center, the headless nun, the dungarvon whooper, the ciy of festivals, the invention of the fish stick and of course home to Fatkat Animation Studios. BUT! The Miramichi River also provides an amazing day of Toobing!
Starting in Sunny Corner at Stuart's Toobing you can ride all day for just a few dollars. The toobing run takes you about two and a half hours to complete.
