Recently Fatkat had inked a co-development/producing deal with Michael Carter and the Oscar nominated and recently Emmy award winning Kaj Pindal on their new pre-school show "The Immigrants".
Kaj won an Emmy for his last project and current production Peep in the Big Wide World. Originally a short film that he produced for the NFB in 1988.
Kaj re-unites with one of his past students Gwen Mitchell. Kaj was overjoyed to see that alot of his former students were now working here at Fatkat.
I finally got Kaj all to myself, we looked over some of the storyboards for the intro to his show, but we thought it much more interesting to check out his shoes and see what we could do to snazzy them up.
It didn't take long for Kaj to come up with some creative ideas!
I've never met a more collaborative animator, It's so cool to be working with him for the rest of the week, I'll post more tomorrow.
